MEREL KOMAN– singer/songwriter
Studied at the conservatory in Utrecht, the Netherlands.
Worked with Qeaux Qeaux Joans, Waylon, Syleena Johnson (USA), Amber Gomaa and Candy Dulfer.
One of Merel’s highlights was singing to Kofi Annan (former UN secretary general)
Merel performs her own compositions under the name ’Blackbird’ and also has a duo with singer Baer Traa called ‘The Marble Roots’
Merel’s main influences are: Joni Mitchell, Amy Winehouse, Lianne la Havas and Eva Cassidy.
ARIE DEN BOER -drums (1969)
Studied classical percussion and drums at the Rotterdam Conservatory (1987-1997).
Arie worked with national artists such as: Carel Kraayenhof, André van Duin, René Froger, Mathilde Santing, Rob de Nijs, Metropole Orchestra, Amsterdam Percussion Group and international artists like Blue Man Group, Pat Metheny, Steve Vai, Suzanna Lubrano (Capeverdian Islands), Nadine (South Africa), Vanessa Williams, Phil Collins, Liza Minelli, Elvis Costello, Richard Bona, Oleta Adams and others.
Studiosessions -From Holiday on Ice Shows to Frans Bauer- and lot of television shows such as The Voice of Holland, Maestro and Dancing with the Stars.
Arie also works with Serbian band ʻBalkanopolisʼ including tours through Europe, China and Russia.
BAER TRAA –vocals (1990)
Dutch singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Baer Traa obtained his music degree at the renowned Codarts in Rotterdam, majoring in jazz vocals.
After winning the Dutch Jazz Vocalists Competition in 2011 and reaching the finals of the Erasmus jazz prize, he started writing and performing his own music, inspired by the great songwriters of the 60’s and 70’s, ranging from the Beatles to the Band and from James Taylor to Bill Withers.
He recorded an album with the band ‘Any Vegetable’ and is currently working on his debut EP, both of which will be out in the fall of 2016.
CHARLY ANGENOIS –bass

JAY-P guitar/vocals
Jay-P (Jan-Peter Beijersbergen, born 1969-Rotterdam) is a very talented, professional Dutch guitarist, in the studio as well as live-settings.
He studied jazz and fusion in the period 1988 – 1994 at the Conservatory in Zwolle and Utrecht.
In the same period he had private lessons with renowned jazz-guitarist Eef Albers .
He has worked with countless bands and artists from all over the world on numerous albums.
In 1996 he released the instructional guitar CD ‘Lick It & Pick It’ with accompanying book.On this CD he plays 21 guitar-instrumentals in lot of different styles.
In 2008 he released his first official solo album, ‘Still Fine’. The album contains ten rock songs with Jay-P playing guitar, bass , keyboards and singing all lead vocals.
He released his second solo album “Listen To The Dawn” in 2015 and it contains 13 original instrumentals on acoustic guitar.
Jay-P has his own blues/rockband named Jay-P & band.
For several years now Jay-P is the owner his professional recording studio in Zwolle
MARCUS OLGERS -keyboards
Marcus Olgers studied at the Conservatory of Amsterdam and is one of the most refined and versatile session pianists in the Netherlands.
The last 15 years he has worked with most major dutch artists and ensembles.
As a composer/producer he worked on several succesful vocal albums and on music for media through his company SoundStory.
Under his own name he recorded the album “Hiding in the Hinterland”, a highly personal blend of Jazz, electronic and classical music featuring some of the finest musicians in the Netherlands.
